Dr. Theresa Bullard-Whyke is a pioneer in bridging science and spirituality. Her practical approach to the realm of spirituality is much needed – she defies the woo-woo, new age expectation and delivers teachings that are grounded and purposeful in every day life to create positive change.
While she is masterful as a speaker and teacher, bringing a depth of understanding to illuminate and bring about those paradigm shifting “aha” moments, she is a link in a greater chain maintaining the Western Mystery School tradition that for generations was passed down from teacher to student behind closed doors.
Today the Mystery School path is open and available to anyone who chooses to walk it. This is a path of spiritual exploration and it is not an easy one.
As an Initiate walking this path over the past 20 years, Dr. Theresa has overcome the challenges to earn the highest level of initiation: Ipsissimus. Her specialty is Kabbalah, and in honor of this designation, within the lineage she is known as Ipsissimus Theresa. She also serves on the Council of 12 providing leadership and direction for the Modern Mystery School. As a council member she holds the title “Divina,” honoring this role she holds for the school.
What does it take to walk a Spiritual path of real growth and transformation?

The title Sovereign Ipsissimus denotes the level of initiation achieved, as Dave Lanyon walked the path to Know Thyself and embodied the art of Self Mastery to become a lineage holder and reach the highest levels of initiation. Through his leadership the Modern Mystery School has grown from a closed door Mystery School to an international organization with Teachers, Guides, and Healers in 55 countries around the world. He is a leader who walks the walk, living in integrity with what he teaches and leads by example to be a force for good in this world.

One of the keys Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave brings up is that on a spiritual path, you need a system that addresses the human ego. This is one of the strengths of the lineage, but also what makes it most challenging.
He shares, “the reason the lineage or a spiritual path like this can be so hard is because of your ego. The path has to have a way to handle that resistance. For you to grow, there’s always going to be a demand that the ego doesn’t want to do.”
Another key Ipsissimus Theresa and Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave shared in their experience was attaining conventional success, yet realizing something was missing.
One of the fruits of walking this difficult path is that it leads to true joy – a concept often misunderstood and mischaracterized as happiness or comfort. But real joy goes much deeper and is the reward of the difficult work one may take on as they walk this path of progression.
